Problem: I entered a PIN other than 98765 when I was setting up my administrator account during my site activation. How do I change it?
Solution: When you login to the site with your login credentials, password and security code, you should see a Configuration line on your Welcome Page. You can access the site by going to the VITA/TCE Springboard and clicking on Pro Online.
- Select Configuration
- Select Preparer Setup
- Click Edit next to the administrator username you created when you activated the site
- Change the PIN to 98765 and click Continue
Note: Once you start creating preparers/users, the program automatically defaults the PIN to 98765.
