The TaxSlayer software has been updated to not calculate any repayment of Advanced Premium Tax Credit in accordance with the American Rescue Plan. This is now live in the software. For impacted returns, Form 8962 will still generate in the PDF, but will not be included in the transmission. You will notice that Lines 28 and 29 under Part III of Form 8962 will be $0, thus not carrying to Schedule 2, Line 2. If your site(s) have been holding these returns, they can now be e-filed. Another important reminder is the IRS still has not made a determination of what they intend to do for returns already filed and accepted with repayment of APTC.
