The SPEC One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) symposium  held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.  Partners learned how the OBBBA pertains to them, their VITA/TCE tax sites, and the taxpayers they serve in their community and surrounding areas.

The purpose of the symposium is to ensure partners and volunteers are well-prepared to assist taxpayers under the new provision. It also:

  • Provided an overview of the One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act and its key tax law changes
  • Explained how these changes impact credits, deductions and filing requirements
  • Identified which topics and scenarios fall in-scope and out-of-scope for the VITA/TCE program
