The 2021 Kiosk URL’s expired after October 31st. The links will no longer offer free tax prep to the taxpayers nor offer access to prior year return(s). In the FSA world, 2021 FSA software is now considered prior year. As we begin receiving new orders for TY2022, new URL’s will be generated based on the order received from the IRS and emailed to the volunteer site contact in January of 2023.

VITA/TCE support will be closed on Wednesday, November 2nd from 8:00am to 10:00am ET.

Software vendors received the below messaging from MA DOR.

“Massachusetts will not be issuing MeF acknowledgements for a limited time period starting Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11:00 PM EDT and ending Monday, October 24, 2022 at 6:00 AM EDT. Any outstanding MeF acknowledgements will be issued on Monday, October 24, 2022, after 6:00 AM EDT. We anticipate being current within a few hours after production resumes.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.“

TaxSlayer VITA/TCE support will close on Wednesday, October 5th at 12:00pm EST. Normal off-season hours will resume on Thursday, October 6th.

TaxSlayer VITA/TCE will be available for normal off-season support hours on Friday, September 30th. At this time, we do not anticipate any support interruptions, however, due to the potential impact of Hurricane Ian in our region towards the end of the week, you may experience delays in reaching support.
