TaxSlayer Pro Online: 2018 Program Year

Speeds have significantly improved, however, errors are still occurring very intermittently mostly when accessing a return from Client List.


We have received sporadic reports of the 2018 program year running slowly and generating errors in some instances. We have opened a High Priority ticket (Issue 6183) for development to see what may be going on.

  • Correct issue where error received when selecting Client Status when amended return present

E-FILE

  • Correct an issue where a username would autofill into Taxpayer E-mail field on E-file page (Issue 6045)

WISCONSIN

  • Using incorrect Standard Deduction for Dependent Taxpayer (Issue 6167)

  • Deceased TP prior to turning age 65 receiving increased Standard Deduction in error (Issue 6162)

  • Reject Code Form 502-01730-012. MD update to accept returns with dependents with ITIN’s for EITC

ZIP CODE DATABASE

  • Added two zip codes from FL – 33973 and 33974 (Issue 6131)

Message from CA: Power Outage on May 5th Impacted Processing Returns

Software vendors received the below message from CA regarding a delay in acks from returns filed on or around May 5th, 2021. CA acknowledgements should start to come in as CA processes their backlog.

“The issues caused by yesterday’s power outage have been resolved. SWIFT is now up and running and we are able to receive e-filed returns. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.”

Message from MA: Acknowledgements from 5/3/21

Software vendors received the below message from MA.

Please be advised that on Monday, May 3, we had a systemic issue which did not allow us to acknowledge some returns (all tax types). This issue is being fixed and the missing acknowledgements are scheduled to be sent out next Tuesday, May 11.

TaxSlayer Pro Online: Error Page when Accessing E-file [RESOLVED]

9:50am ET

We have resolved the issue in all years resulting in the error message when going to e-file.


9:15am ET

We are still actively investigating but anticipate correcting the issue soon.


8:46am ET

Our engineers are actively troubleshooting to determine root cause of the error page.


8:13am ET

We are aware of an issue where an error page message is rendered when attempting to access the e-file menu. This appears to be impacting all years.
