PREPARER SETUP – MULTIPLE ACCOUNT CHECKBOX

• Inside the Preparer Setup menu, the “Allow multiple accounts….” Checkbox now immediately shows when adding new preparers. This eliminates the need for site administrators to have to go back and edit a preparer to check these boxes, if applicable (Enhancement)

SCHEDULE C GRID UPDATE

• The Schedule C grid now totals all Schedule C entries to easily display Total Income, Total Expenses, and Total Net Income (Enhancement)

• Corrected an issue where a dependent listed on the Federal and marked as “Not a Dependent” was still carrying to the MD return as a dependent (Issue 3853)

CLIENT LIST

• Correct a display issue on the status column for accepted extensions when Client List is using “100 Most Recent Return” view (Issue 3777)

ERO  SETUP

• Added a new Customer ID entry box at the top of the page.  DO NOT populate this with information, TaxSlayer will populate this information as we begin processing order for TY2019

• Duplicating the “Save” button from the bottom of e-file so it is also available at the top of the page (Enhancement)

MASSACHUSETTS

• Adding ability within Schedule HC>Basic Information menu to report number of dependents claimed on Spouse return when MFS and lived in same household. This impacts the Family Size count on Schedule HC (Issue 3807)

MISSOURI

• Corrected a calculation issue on MO LTC Premium Worksheet, Line D where the full premium reported on Federal was pulling instead of just the amount included in Federal Itemized Deductions (Issue 3838)

REPORTS

• Correct an issue where a MFJ return was creating a duplicate record (for the Spouse) in the State Detail Summary Report (Issue 3674)

PHONE NUMBER INPUT FIELD

• Within the Federal application, update all phone number input fields to be a single entry (Enhancement)

E-FILE

• Correct an erroneous e-file warning when MFS and spouse is marked as being claimed as a dependent on another return (Issue 3800)
  • The warning being prompted was specific to the TP being claimed as a dependent which should not show when only the SP was claimed as a dependent

SCHEDULE C

• Adding a “Net Income” column to the Schedule C grid displaying the net Profit/Loss (Enhancement)
