TaxSlayer VITA/TCE will be available for normal off-season support hours on Friday, September 30th. At this time, we do not anticipate any support interruptions, however, due to the potential impact of Hurricane Ian in our region towards the end of the week, you may experience delays in reaching support.
VITA/TCE customer support will close at 2:30pm ET on Monday, August 8th. Normal off-season support hours will resume on Tuesday at 8:00am ET.
TaxSlayer offices will be closed on Monday, July 4th for, well, the Fourth of July. Normal off-season support hours will resume on Tuesday, July 5th.
TaxSlayer Pro Online recently updated the barcode that displays on the PDF of the D-400 (NC main form). If your site will be paper filing a North Carolina return, please access the return from Client List or click the print option from Client List to receive the update. This will generate the PDF with the current barcode NC DOR will need to properly process the mailed return. This does not impact electronically filed NC returns. Note: Previously paper filed NC returns prior to the barcode update will still be processed by NC DOR.

Statement from the TN Department of Revenue regarding their Hall Income Tax.
“Hall Income tax was repealed for tax periods that begin on January 1, 2021, or later. Please do not file a return for any tax year that begins on or after January 1, 2021.”
TN will still accept and process prior year Hall Income Tax Returns (2020 and prior).
