We will be putting the returns in maintenance mode on Monday, February 5th at 5:00 am for a series of updates.  The updates is scheduled to include:

• PA – A fix for the PA Schedule UE
• LA – Fixed an issue where Line 5a of LA Schedule E was not populating on the print
• Site Production Detail Report (both Electronic and Paper) were yielding zero results. This is now fixed
• WI – Fixed an issue where the zip code entry for Private School Tuition Credit was not saving
• RI – Fix to check the Retirement Modification qualifications when subtracting certain retirement income
• AZ – Form 340 is now an available form to include a print set option for AZ returns
• CA – Fixed an issue that was keeping CA Schedule X from generating in the return.

We will be putting the returns in maintenance mode at 5:00 am EST on Friday, February 2nd to apply a series of updates.  The update is scheduled to include:

• Changes to enforce Send State Only returns to require a Federal return type
• Pull forward the street address for he 1099-R during the Pull Data Forward Address
• Preparer notes not displaying the date, time, and who entered information (Not deployed)
• A fix for NY Direct Debit date to print the date selected for debit instead of the current date

• Removal of text on 1040NR Sch OI regarding exempt income
• Not having to exit the return to see Disaster Area inputs

We will be putting the returns in maintenance mode at 5:00 am on Wednesday, January 31st for a series of updates.  These updates are scheduled to include the following:

• Add new code FF to W-2 Box 12
• W-2 Box 4 was capping the 6.2% at $118,500 for amounts in Box 3 over $118,500
• Disaster Area changes (See Disaster Area blog for screenshots)
• Cancel button on Form 8633 returns you to the Credits Menu
• Fixed an issue where utilizing print sets from the Review Returns menu was not using the correct print set when generating the PDF

The site will be placed in maintenance on Monday, January 29th at 5:00am Eastern to release a series of updates.

• M1PR menu not loading. This has been resolved
• 1040NR – Removed e-file block if tax exempt treaty income is claimed on the return.
• Forms Completed – Under Deductions, “Education Credits” now appears after completing F8863.
• Health Insurance – Fixed an issue where exemption menus were not visible when indicating NO insurance for all household members all year.

The site will be placed in maintenance on Thursday, January 25th at 5:00am Eastern to release a series of updates.

• Text updates to assist prepares completing the affordability worksheet. Screenshots will be provided after the deployment

On the Household Income screen additional text was added to further explain this entry is only needed if preparers will be completing the Affordability Worksheet later.

On the LCBP and SLCSP screen, the outlined text received an overall update to explain to preparers how to retrieve the LCBP and SLCSP premium values

Various updates on the Affordability Worksheet when entering annualized contribution amounts. The word “ANNUALIZED” is now bold and in all CAPS. We also added text next to Situation 1 and 2 to help explain the monthly figure needs to be multiplied by 12 and then entered into each applicable month.

• Adding several additions to the zip code database to automatically generate city and state
  • 85757 – Tucson, AZ
  • 32163 – The Villages, FL
  • 85193 – Casa Grande, AZ
  • 85298 – Gilbert, AZ
  • 85147 – Sacaton, AZ
• Removing the requirement of Taxpayer/Spouse occupation from Basic Information
  • If preparing PA returns, the occupation entered in Federal Basic Information will carry to PA Basic Information
