TaxSlayer Pro Online: Future Direct Debit Selection [RESOLVED]

1/23/2023 10:45am ET: This has now been resolved.


We wanted to make you aware of an issue that will impact, as of this morning (1/23/2023), returns with a future date selected for direct debits. Currently, you can select a future direct debit date in e-file, however, what is reflecting on the PDF is the current date. This means that returns submitted with a direct debit payment method, the current date will be sent with the return instead of the future date selected. Our developers are actively looking into this issue.

Note: This only impacts returns as of 7:00am ET on Monday, January 23rd if an amount is owed and a future direct debit date is selected.

VITA/TCE FSA Kiosk Links — Page not found [RESOLVED]

The VITA/TCE Kiosk links are currently not being routed to the correct page.  We have opened an emergency ticket to get this resolved.

Practice Lab error: 500 – Internal server error [RESOLVED]

Printing Unavailable in 2020 Program [RESOLVED]

8/15/22 (11:45am ET) – 2020 prints have been restored. Please reach out to support if you experience any issues.

8/15/22 (8:00am ET) – We expect to have this fully resolved today. This note will be updated once the issue has been resolved.

8/12/22 – 2020 prints have been restored

Note: Additional work has been found. For sites still experiencing an issue when printing in 2020, go to Office Setup in Configuration and make sure you select “No Cover Page” as shown below. This will fully restore printing until a fix across the board is available. Another option is to utilize a print set where the “Cover Page” is set to zero (0).

 

 

 

 

 

8/9/22 – We have opened a high priority ticket with development to investigate why generating a PDF in the 2020 program is timing out. We do not have an ETA at this time.

Runtime Error: Pro Online 2021 [RESOLVED]

Update:  This has been resolved.  You may experience a bit of slowness when you open the first return.

Server Error in ‘/2021/avalon’ Application.

We have opened a critical ticket with our engineering team.

Form 8888: Requiring More than 1 Bank Account [RESOLVED]

We are aware of an issue where Form 8888 in e-file, is requiring the entry of more than 1 bank account. Until this issue is resolved, go into Configuration > Office Setup and uncheck the box to not offer Form 8888 at the site. This will allow you to enter only the one bank account needed and continue through e-file.

Delay in Acks for 2020 Submissions [RESOLVED]

Any outstanding 2020 acks should be returning over the next 24 hours.


We are aware many sites are waiting on acknowledgements from 2020 Federal and/or state transmissions. Our development staff is currently looking into this and hope to provide an update by mid-week this week.

TaxSlayer Pro Online: Returns with CA [RESOLVED]

12:59pm ET – The fix for California is actively being deployed. During the next hour or so, you may experience slowness while inside the program. This will subside as the deploy finishes.


An update with this mornings deployment caused an issue where Federal returns with a CA state return is experiencing a broken calc (summary/print page won’t load). The fix for this issue will deployed soon. We apologize for the inconvenience.
